Welcome to Girls' Ministries

Girls’ Ministries is the official ministry to girls of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and is under the oversight of Women's Ministries. Girls' Ministries provides many avenues for girls to grow in Christ and develop their God-given gifts and abilities. Missionettes is the discipleship tool used by the local church to introduce girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It is a place for girls in the church to invite their friends to meet Jesus, to gather with other girls who love God, and to be mentored by a sponsor who cares about them. Additionally, girls are encouraged to be active in other programs such as Baby Hope Club, PenFriends, and local and conference activities.

BABY HOPE CLUB helps babies born to young women living in International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) maternity homes. We believe every baby deserves the hope of tomorrow. God’s Word confirms this: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future," Jeremiah 29:11, NIV. Since Baby Hope Club is sponsored by General Girls’ Ministries, we encourage Missionettes and their coordinator and sponsors to "join the club." NATIONAL GIRLS EVENT–The first national event (for IPHC girls grades 3-12) was held July 27-30, 2007, at Ridgecrest Conference Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside Asheville, North Carolina. It was an extremely successful event and will be held again in four years–during the summer of 2011! Start raising funds now and be ready to join us for Power Chicks 11!

PENFRIENDS is a letter writing club for members of chartered local Missionettes clubs only. Through PenFriends, Missionettes become friends with daughters of missionaries and daughters of chaplains through letter writing (similar to pen pals). PenFriends is sponsored by Girls’ Ministries of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. OPERATION TEACHING TOOLS With a “CAN” Do Attitude, Girls’ Ministries in the local church can be involved in world-wide ministry in one or more of three options with Operation Teaching Tools (OTT). This partnership began when Girls’ Ministries made the transition from the GEMS to Missionettes curriculum and many churches sent their old GEMS curriculum to Operation Teaching Tools (OTT) to be given to missionaries in Africa.
