IPHC Women and Girls' Ministries have partnered with EWL (Evangelical Women Leaders) of the NAE and The National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families in the I Care initiative. The purpose of this initiative has three parts; the first is to call Christian women and their friends to prayer and action for the protection of our children and young people from sexual exploitation by:
Part two is to educate women to the immediate danger of sexual exploitation and experimentation made possible by today's advanced technologies. And finally, part three is to mobilize women to join together and provide them effective action steps to protect the nation's children and youth. When you join the I Care initiative, you are making a commitment to pray regularly for the children and youth of America. You are also stating that you want to be kept up to date on the growing dangers facing our children so you will know how to pray effectively and respond appropriately to the dangers of sexual exploitation. Click here or on the I Care button in the left column to join the initiative and begin receiving an informative newsletter. IPHC pastors and key leaders will receive a letter and copy of the booklet mentioned below in early 2008 to introduce the partnership among denominations and other groups to protect our children. Keep reading to learn more about our involvement and about how to download your own copy of the booklet.
The International Pentecostal Holiness Church has joined the fight to protect our children. We are joining with the iCare Coalition to help inform people about the options available to protect your family. The booklet, Sex and Cell Phones: Protect Your Children is available for download from the iCare Coalition site. Take advantage of this opportunity to inform your local church about this insidious threat. We have been silent too long. Now is the time to take action. |
