About MpactMpact Girls Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact Girls Clubs provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. With the recent addition of Sunlight Kids (for birth through 36 months), Mpact clubs now include five clubstwo for preschool boys and girls and three for elementary girls. Watch for more information on the newest club. The Fivefold Purpose of Girls' Ministries (see link below) sums it up best. Memorize it and live by it if you are working with girls (and boys in the youngest clubs); let it become your self-evaluation test as well. Why a new name? The IPHC adopted the Missionettes curriculum as its preferred method of discipleship to girls in 1999. It is produced by the Assemblies of God denomination and we purchased rights to customize it for the IPHC. When they announced the change of name from Missionettes to Mpact for the younger clubs and Teen Girl Ministries (TGM) for the older girls, we knew we needed to make the name change as well. Our official name has always been IPHC Girls' Ministries; we simply chose Missionettes as our discipleship curriculum in 1999. We will continue to refer to ourselves as Girls' Ministries on all levels and we will continue to recommend the girls club curriculum for your discipleship program in the local church. They are just broken down into two distinct age groups now. The curriculum and internal workings of the clubs remain the same as when everything was known as Missionettes.
