One of the fun features on Friday night will be a bidding war on bridal veils. Here's a glimpse of how it will work: There will be at least four wedding veils and each one will be worn by the highest bidder's choice for either a morning or afternoon during Power Chicks. That gives at least 8 different bidsFor instance, girls and sponsors from the local church might want to bid on a veil and make their conference GM coordinator wear the wedding veil when we go to Asheville's Fun Depot!! What a great picture opportunity that would be to see your conference (or local!) coordinator wearing the veil while she rides on a go kart or plays miniature golf! Start saving your money now for both the offering and the bidding war!

Saturday Evening Service

This service will take its cue from the area in which we are meetingthe Great Smokey Mountains. Storytelling is a vibrant part of mountain history, and is still part of the charm of region attractions in nearby mountain towns such as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Jesus himself used storytelling to help His followers understand the principles He was teaching. While you might think of storytelling as an artform from the past, think again. It is still a great tool for imparting the gospel. Dramatic reenactment, whether verbal or visual, is a modern-day version of storytelling and will be a vital part of this evening's service.

Our guest of honor for Sataurday evening is Kelly L. Isaacs, who will be presenting the gospel through drama vignettes. Kelly is an alumni of Evangel University with a major in Drama/Speech Education. She is married with two children. When she isn't playing one of her many roles as a wife, mom, housekeeper, taxi-driver, school aid or short order cook, Kelly enjoys ministering through drama at her local church, as well as traveling with her one woman performance of "Corrie ten Boom" at retreats, civic organizations, and churches. She desires to write and perform more "Women of the Faith." Kelly is presently the Indiana District Coordinator of Missionettes for the Assemblies of God.

|
Synopsis of the one-woman dramatic portrayal of the life of Corrie ten Boom. When the gates of Ravensbruck Concentration Camp locked behind Corrie, separating her from everything and nearly everyone she loved, no one could keep out the presence of God whose protection followed Corrie and her sister through every nightmare experience. As poignantly portrayed in the movie. "The Hiding Place," she had hidden Jewish refugees from the Nazis, and now God kept her safe for the lifelong work He had planned for her. |

B. Kay Jones, a pastor's wife, ordained minister, and former WM director in the Alpha Conference, is our special speaker on Sunday evening. B. Kay's magnetic personality and vibrant walk with God allow her to connect with girls on a unique level. Her ministry, stemming from her own personal heartaches and triumphs, has made her a popular speaker for youth camps (alongside her husband) and girls retreats. She will tell it like it is and then rely on the Holy Spirit to bring the results. Get ready to experience a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit in this service. To read more about B.
