Heartland Conference. River of Life held its Celebration in August to recognize all of the girls and the awards they had earned, both during the final quarter and during their time in Missionettes (now Mpact). This is my home church (Irvina Parker, IPHC GM Director) so I was quite proud to be there for the celebration. One of the young ladies from Stars wrote & presented a poem that night that we wanted to share.
North Carolina Conference. Most women still love to dress up for a special occasion, but little girls do especially love an opportunity to see themselves as little ladies for the first time. A tea party is a wonderful occasion for such fanfare, and at Culbreth Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, in Falcon, North Carolina, the opportunity is given to them.Decorations and light finger foods are provided by the prayer ministry. The girls are encouraged to dress up in their fancy dresses, hats, and other accessories (some of which are also provided).
